Alexa Morden and Andrew Paul co-star as Jenny and Paul in Standby, the breakout film from Charlotte Regan (Scrapper). A comedy short about friendship and routines entirely set in a police patrol car.
Awarded with the BFI Future Film Award for Charlotte and Best Performance at the Screen-test Film Festival for Alexa, the film premiered at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) where it was a favourite among reviewers. It then went on to collect many accolades including a BAFTA Nomination for Best Short Film, winner of Sundance Ignite and the Lifetime Shorts competition, and was a Vimeo staff pick amassing over a quarter of a million views in just a few weeks.
